Christian's POV
Christian came back to home after the concert but all he could think about today's night, her.
The crowd was roaring, the lights were blinding, and everything was just as it always was-chaotic, loud, and full of adrenaline, But for the first time in years,he wasn't feeling the thrill. All he could think about the woman's voice is echoing-"There should be some medical team, many people are here. That could happen to anyone..."-still lingered in his ears.
She didn't even look at him properly while talking.
And yet, she made it hard for him to look away.
Earlier, when Jungwon had rushed in saying Conan's manager collapsed, he was helping with the sound check. He thought it would be canceled it halfway. But watching her-a stranger-took control of the panic with calm hands and sharper eyes, was unsettling in a way he couldn't describe.
She didn't even flinch when everyone screamed. She checked vitals, cleared his mouth, and when everyone was yelling "kiss him" like a bunch of idiots, she shut them up in a heartbeat.
Fierce.
That was the word.
He wasn't used to women like that. Not in his world of flashing cameras and rehearsed emotions.
When she brought the manager back, the sigh of relief that went through the room was loud, but all he could hear was his own racing thoughts.
He stepped forward.
"Thank you for everything," he'd said.
She didn't even glance at him. Just turned to Avaline like he didn't exist.
He was used to attention.
He hated that he noticed her ignoring him.
And then she snapped.
That stung.
Because she was right.
He didn't say anything then. He couldn't. Not when her sharp eyes looked like they were dissecting everything about him.
She was intimidating.
But not in the way people on stage usually are.
When they were all seated. He could barely focus on Conan's performance. Jungwon was cheering. Avaline was dancing in her seat.He was watching her. The way she tilted her head. The stillness in her body that looked like power.
She was different.
And for the first time in a long time...
Christian wanted to know more.
She didn't even look at him properly while talking.
And yet, she made it hard for him to look away.
Christian ( to himself): Sleep man, you've long schedule tomorrow but..... she is different.
Next day
Christian didn't wanted to be up this early, not after a concert night. But Conan insisted on breakfast- he said his manager didn't come back yet from hospital so for breakfast he need company.
So here they were in a sleek restaurant in downtown LA, a place where the rich ordered eggs like they were stocks on Wall Street.
Christian sipped his black coffee, half-tuned into the conversation.
Conan was chatting about last night with Christian's manager but Christian's mind kept wandering-to a girl with steel in her voice and fire in her eyes.
Radhika, Avaline's friend.
He thought about googling her, but it felt... wrong. She was a doctor, probably not even from LA. Just in town for work or vacation with her best friend. He might not see her again.
And yet-he couldn't shake her off his mind.
He was about to say something when Conan's eyes suddenly shifted toward the entrance, lips parting in surprise.
"Damn..."
Christian turned to look.
And froze.
There she was.
Radhika Rathore. Entering like she owned the damn place.
Her hair tied in a sleek ponytail, a formal blazer over a black bodycon dress, heels clicking confidently against the marble floor. A phone in one hand, a tablet in the other. She didn't look around. She didn't need to. People looked at her.
Boss energy. Intimidating. Magnetic.
She asked something to the waiter, then walked toward the VIP section, her assistant trailing behind her.
Canon:Can it be her twins?
Christian's brows knit. She's here... for a meeting?
Canon:looks like apparently not a doctor just.
A few tables over, Radhika sat down opened her tablet, discussing something with her assistant. Calm, commanding, no smile, No nonsense.
Then a man entered. He was dressed well-expensive suit, watch that screamed wealth with zero taste. He pulled the chair and sat down in front of her like he owned her time. They exchanged a few business-like words for some minutes, but even from across the restaurant, Christian could see the shift in Radhika's body language.
Her posture went stiff. Her jaw tightened. She leaned slightly back in her chair.
Irritation.
Then came the move Christian didn't expect.
The man reached across the table and casually placed his hand on her thigh under the tablecloth.
Christian almost stood up.
But he didn't need to.
Because before the man could blink, Radhika stood-swift and precise.
And crack-
Her heel came down hard on the man's foot.
Christian actually flinched.
The man yelped, grabbing his foot under the table.
Everyone turned.
But Radhika? Calm. Composed. Chin high.
"Try that again," she said coldly, "and you'll be crawling out of here,I didn't come here to listen to your bullshit .Leave right now ,I don't work with motherfuckers."
The man leave. She sit in her place, leg Crossed.Stay silent for sometime, then talking something with her assistant but her eyes still held the fire from moments ago. No sign of regret. No guilt. Just quiet power.
Christian blinked.
Conan:bro?
"What?" he muttered.
"You're staring like she's your next album inspiration," Conan said with a low laugh, sipping his coffee.
Christian didn't reply, just kept his eyes on Radhika.
"She saved my manager's life yesterday," Conan added, softer now. "At least I should thank her properly."
Christian look at him then, ran a hand through his hair. "I don't think she wants anything from us ."
"That doesn't mean we shouldn't try," Conan smirked. Then he leaned toward Christian's manager, who was quietly eating next to him. "Hey, do me a favor. Go ask that doctor if she'll join us for a quick coffee-just to thank her for what she did last night."
The manager looked surprised. "Now?"
"Yes, now. Be polite, and don't push. If she says no, we don't press. Just a thank you."
Christian watched as his manager wiped his mouth, stood up, and walked across the restaurant. Every step felt like slow motion. Christian's chest tightened a little.
What if she walked out ?
What if she turned it all down?
What if... she actually said yes?
He wasn't sure what he was hoping for more.
At Radhika's table, the manager stopped a respectful distance away and spoke. She looked up, confused at first, then listened. Her assistant glanced at her curiously.
Christian held his breath.
And then-
What do you think can happen after that guys?....watch it in the next part...
